ACASIA™ Flexi Family

 

ACASIA™ Flexi Family is a value-add feature ACASIA™ Frame Relay service designed to meet customer's need for a quick increase in their network capacity for a special period of time within the contractual period.

The offering of such service goes to demonstrate ACASIA's felxibility and responsiveness in accommodating ACASIA's customers' network requirements to support their ever-changing business operations.

Standard Offering
ACASIA™ Flexi Family allows customers to increase the existing Committed Information Rate (CIR) of the Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVCs) to/ from a port, without increase in the subscribed port speed. The sum of the present CIR in each direction and the additional CIR in each way cannot exceed the minimum subscribed port speed. This is also applicable in a one-way communication; i.e. asymmetric PVC transmission.

ACASIA™ Flexi Family is available for CIR speeds between 8 kbps and 128 kbps. Other requested speeds will be accommodated, subject to confirmation by ACASIA RNOC.

In the provisioning and normalization processes, the customer will experience a maximum of 30 minutes service interruption for the upgrading and re-setting windows.

Offer One-Stop-Shop Features
ACASIA™ Flexi Family customers will be able to enjoy a 'One-Stop-Shop' facility encompassing the following features:

Single-End Ordering
Allows a customer to place a complete order with any of ACASIA Partners

Single-End Billing
Allows a customer to pay bills at any end with any local ASEAN currency or other agreed currencies

Single-End Fault Reporting
ACASIA Regional Network Operations Centre (RNOC) and Partners supporting Local Network Management Centre (LNMC) are responsible for round-the-clock one-stop fault reporting and maintenance processes.

How to Subscribe
It is quick and straightforward to apply for ACASIA™ Flexi Family. You only need to forward a 'Letter Of Intent'(LOI) using your company letterhead to your respective Account Manager (except Singapore, which requires an ACASIA™ Flexi Order Form), quoting the following:

Service Benefits
ACASIA™ Flexi Family allows customers to increase their ACASIA™ Frame Relay network capacity to their exact requirement for a specific time frame, without adding long-term commitment to their present ACASIA™ Frame Relay service contract - "You pay exactly for what you need when you need it".

Prices are structured on a flat daily basis to allow short-term commitment flexibility. Eg: for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 30 days within the contractual period.

Short lead-time required to provision ACASIA™ Flexi - 3 working days, with an 'Upgrade Window' and 'Re-setting Window' schedule.

Service Coverage
ACASIA™ Flexi Family is now available in the following countries: Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
