Position: Business Development Manager

Who are we searching for?
  • We are looking for dynamic personnel to join our team in our business expansion in local and ASEAN Region. The ideal candidate is always on their toes, looking for new and exciting business opportunities that they can bring in. This candidate should have strong communication skills. They should be able to think strategically and critically when making plans and should have a demonstrated ability to execute them.

     

Strategic Role:
  • This position is responsible to manage, direct the organization’s business development activities as well as sales activities. This includes, but not limited to, the ability to: proactively plan, create demand, influence specifications, target & penetrate accounts, drive promotional activities, work and sell collaboratively, manage an opportunity pipeline, perform customer presentations, as well as handle numerous other business development and sales-related operations with the emphasis on specification and account influence to drive towards a preferential position. 
  • Additionally, the incumbent should provide marketing advice and leadership to ensure overall market effectiveness.

     

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and develop business opportunities, sales partnerships and generating leads. 
  2. Strategically plan, conduct market analysis and overall assessment in ensuring project success.
  3. Explore and identify key account in industry vertical.
  4. Keep abreast of the industry developments and provide timely feedback to the management.
  5. Define target markets, and support the identification of key customers, drive and monitor focus vertical development programs to support business growth and business unit’s overall growth strategy. 
  6. Ensures effective sales setup, capitalizing synergies, in collaboration within and across organization and ASEAN market.
  7. Meet assigned sales and revenue targets and strategic objectives. 
  8. Actively participate from Lead management to Contract negotiation phases of crucial projects, including cross-portfolio and cross-region.
  9. Coordinate internal resources including sales, solution, service and manage resources to meet performance objectives and requirements. 
  10. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts, in an effort to grow business and help company expand.

 

Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Candidates preferably possess a Degree in Telecommunication or Information Technology, or Sales and Marketing. An MBA is an advantage.
  2. Portray minimum five (5) years professional experience including areas of ICT, Solutioning, Sales & Marketing and Business Development.

     

Skills & Requirements:
  1. Sales-driven with goal-getter and client-focused mindset. A hunter and hungry for new business successes, generating new business and expanding footprint for new customer.
  2. Resourceful, meticulous and possess good analytical skills, team orientation, resilience, and social competence.
  3. Knowledge of positioning and selling connectivity & digital business in new customers and new market segments.
  4. Strong eye for identifying business opportunities.
  5. Good persuasion and influencing capabilities.
  6. Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Powerpoint.
  7. Strong communication and good command of English, both written and spoken.
  8. Good technical feel and business writing skills.
